I can only hope and pray there is a sequel in the works. They reiterate the Russian theme of the storyline through the use of sttrong reds, yellows, and blues. The reader thus gets a broad musical education in this work. This was a useful adjunct to the text. Both his rural and urban landscapes are imbued with these qualities, and places both famous and anonymous seem to shimmer with moods and resonances of an archetypal Japan you always wanted to visit but found only fleetingly when you actually went there--and in this too there is a subdued hint of something more universal and eternal still. Great text, diagrams and photos.. Wallnut Truffles. Though the pictures will be enticing to anyone fond of this architecture, I consider the text to be aimed at newbies. Trust Me.
This is a great investment, and will stand proud in your drum book collection.. I haven't had the honor of meeting Nick Tumminello (yet) but I consider him a mentor for all that he has done for me with his teaching
