A fellow flight instructor introduced me to this book and it is by far the best book for general systems on aircraft I have ever seen. It was less philosophical and more self-indulgent than I had hoped, but an interesting insight into a prized mind.. Easy to read.. By happenstance, in early 1987 the two of us attended a CJER conference and ended up having dinner together. But, I have never met Loretta, so that characterization may not be inaccurate. For a biographic overview I'd recommend Dierdre Bair's biography. Intuition that is not tempered with an understanding of the basic rules though will falter and fall short. the only complant that I have is with the testing software it is far better than nothing but is far below what I would have expected from you. I purchased a vintage Sprite and knew nothing about this make. It's a beautiful story told with grace and wonderful details.. Additionally, the reproductions of the plates which are photographs are *very* poorly done to the point
